  • Experience diverse cultures, religions and castes: climb stone staircases and stay in high mountain settlements, including Ghandruk, home to the Gurung people, many of whom serve in the Gurkha Regiment.
  • Visit the Chitwan Jungle and Asian Elephant Breeding Centre: elephant Safaris in search of the Asian rhino, leopard and the elusive Bengal tiger; canoe rides, jungle walks, talks and demonstrations.
