My son, Jack, went to South Africa with your company in 2014. He had a wonderful experience and came back with a more mature outlook on life, and fantastic memories. I felt I must write and tell you what longlasting benefits his trip has had for him. He wrote about it on his CV and got offers from all five universities that he applied to. However, it was particularly beneficial recently , when he applied for a Year in Industry as part of his Mechanical Engineering degree. During his interviews he enthused about his experiences in South Africa, particularly about taking part in constructing a greenhouse for a local school. All the interviewers were extremely impressed, and I am sure this contributed to his being offered a placement for a large company next year. I thought you would be pleased to know the longlasting benefits we have found from lettiing Jack go on this trip, and I would recommend it to any young person who is contemplating going. It really has been lifechanging!
"Just wanted to drop you an email to say a massive thank you for giving Ibby the opportunity to experience the beauty of the people, the animals, the flora and fauna that S Africa offers.
Thanks especially to Steve and Sarah for being such wonderful expedition leaders. This expedition is an experience of life that Ibby will always remember the trip and will relish the friendships and memories she has made.
Would highly recommend Outposts to any student considering travelling.
Once again thanks and keep up the excellent work."
"A great day out for the newly arrived students - I am sure many new friendships have been made - down to the fact that the students have to communicate and listen to one another."
"Outposts delivered an excellent programme that was tailored made for our Year 12 induction programme. It provided the perfect opportunity for new and current pupils to bond over well thought out tasks, such many of them falling off milk crates into 'shark infested water', dropping 'explosive' devices and the abandonment of team mates in 'acid filled lakes'."
"I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you and your team at Outposts for providing such an amazing trip to Nepal for Aled. He had a fabulous time (he didn’t want to come home) and hasn’t stopped talking about it since – and his plans for returning one day!
Mick and Megan were obviously excellent leaders and the Nepalese guides and chef were brilliant.
We have found the whole organisation and professionalism from all of you at Outposts, from the initial presentation at Chilton right up until the end of the expedition, so easy to deal with and gave us great confidence as Aled headed off on this trip of a lifetime. We won’t hesitate in recommending Outposts to others and sincerely hope that our younger son will approach you in a couple of years with the same desire to visit Nepal!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH."

"Outposts were fantastic from start to finish. Their admin team were very efficient at sorting us out in the preparation phase and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left they were nothing but helpful and supportive. The bush camp and general facilities at Lydeard Farm were well constructed and made camping with school aged children both safe and enjoyable. The programme was delivered by instructors who were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and good at working with young people. All our pupils got loads out of the experience."
"A huge thank you for all of your team’s efforts on our residential. The boys had an absolutely fantastic time and the staff did too. The level of personal attention we got from all levels of your company was first rate and I felt that there was nothing we couldn’t ask of you. It is getting increasingly rare to work with a company that goes the extra mile and provides such a well organised and enjoyable trip.
I would not hesitate to recommend you to my colleagues or teacher friends and I hope to be able to run another trip with you soon."
"We loved everything, but particularly the airplane exercise in the afternoon- it sent them into meltdown which was a useful experience for them to learn under pressure. A secondary benefit was that it was amusing for staff to watch. We'll be asking Michael to come back again next year as it was so excellent. Many thanks again."

"The children had some fantastic experiences in their week at Outposts and developed a range of key skills including resilience, teamwork and perseverance. The experienced instructors were superb and the children were allowed to have fun whilst learning a great deal about themselves and pushing their boundaries in an unfamiliar but safe environment. All of the children returned home tired, inspired and grateful for the adventure."

"Just a short note to say very many thanks to you and your colleagues for the amazing time Sophie had on her Nepal expedition. She thoroughly enjoyed every moment and only wishes that the trip could have been longer. It's clearly been a fabulous experience for her, making memories that will last a lifetime and enthusing Sophie with an appetite for travel and adventure."

"Outposts provided an excellent programme of events that were perfectly tailored to our students needs. The staff were brilliant – enthusiastic and motivating to the students. The facilities are great and provide a new experience for the students. Highly recommendable organisation."

"The children all look forward to their day of activities, love the whole set-up, great instructors and always feel they want to stay longer. By the end of the day, even children who have tended to be ‘loners’ are part of the team and listening skills improve hugely."
"An amazing set of challenging and varied set of activities run by qualified, supportive and very experienced instructors. Every student came home with a grin and a list of fears they had overcome."

"Outpost are an incredibly professional organisation who we have been working with for many years. They guided me in planning a Year 7 camping trip where the girls had a fantastic time in a safe environment, led by knowledgeable instructors.
Report from the girls which sums up how brilliant the Outpost team are:
The U3s spent half of their week camping in Lasham Woods. When we arrived we started by building our own shelters out of sticks, string and Tarp. We completed a number of exciting activities. Some of our favourite activities included; making fires, baking pizza, wall climbing, high ropes, using knives and axes to carve wood, arts and crafts and water fights, how to grasp nettles without getting stung, making beads out of willow, making dream catchers, making sun dials and a particular favourite was eating wood-sorral and nettle petals.
They were led by a team of instructors who have a world of experience and stories to share. In the evenings they would all congregate in the giant tent, around the fire. We sang, listened to tales and performed various talents. We had a great time and would like to thank all of the staff involved.
It was a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend using Outpost for school trips."
"What a fantastic few days we have had at Outposts! This was our first ever residential with Year 4 and the setting, activities and staff at Outposts was ideal and fit for purpose. All the planning and flexibility(and patience!) shown by the staff at Outposts has meant that we have been able to fulfill all our objectives for the trip and our children are now set up for residentials for the rest of their time at St Peter's. All the activities were pitched perfectly for our age group and the food and camping were first class. Thank you Outposts for a memorable trip. We will be back!"

"Thank you for a very well-tailored provision which provided much stimulating food for thought and a really focused consideration of leadership skills to an audience not used to exploring this area explicitly. The range of tasks was excellent, the place a delight, the weather behaved and the girls really appreciated the incisive good sense and humour with which it was all delivered."
